Then I kept coming every year, each time longer.It was after all those years, when I’d finally achieved my long lost dream of lying on a cozy couch drinking a smoothie instead of sleeping on a wooden bed and eating vegetables in China, that I realized my life had been an exotic roller coaster ride full of action movie adventures. Not because I was in China training Kung Fu, which I’d come to appreciate, but because I had the most interesting creatures by my side. One of them was Louis Tan.
Like every run-of-the-mill human being out there, Louis enjoys to play games and have movie nights with his buddies, which is where the true core of his strength comes in. As his expression goes, if you never resist all the sweet and utterly joy-giving temptations that life hands over to you, which all humans have, then you will never get something difficult. My dad used to tell me that a man can live without his word, but will die without the hardships he needs in order to give life a reason to repay him. This has made him not only a truly exquisite coach and Kung Fu Artist but also an amazingly captivating person. I am only fourteen years old, which makes me even more proud to say that Louis Tan is a powerful mentor, but also a very good friend.
